The Dinowitz Democratic Team. Moving The Bronx Forward.

DECADES OF PROVEN RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY: RE-ELECT ASSEMBLY MEMBER JEFFREY DINOWITZ

Assembly Member Jeffrey Dinowitz has dedicated his entire life to supporting and strengthening his community in the Bronx. Born and raised in the borough, Jeff was organizing his neighbors to stand up for their rights as tenants before he was even old enough to vote. A graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York (CUNY), and Brooklyn Law School, Jeff has spent decades making sure the people of the Bronx, and New York as a whole, get a fair shake. Today, as our Assembly Member, Jeff continues to ensure every resident of the 81st Assembly District has a chance to be heard. He has helped thousands of people cut through government red tape with city, state and federal agencies.

INCLUSIVE AND EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP FOR OUR LOCAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY: ELECT EMILY HAUSMAN AND BEN JACKSON AS OUR DISTRICT LEADERS

Emily Hausman is an early childhood administrator who has advocated to create spaces in schools so that children can thrive. As the Riverdale Y Early Childhood Director, she used her vision to reinvent the school. During COVID, she developed and ran the emergency child center and school to ensure that parents had safe places for their children while public schools were closed. She is now the founding director of the infant and toddler center at SAR Academy. She is a member of Community Board 8, where she works with city agencies and local elected officials to resolve neighborhood concerns. Emily and her husband, an ordained Rabbi and Chaplain (CAPT) in the New York National Guard, are raising their four children here in the community.

Ben Jackson is a lawyer who fights corporate fraud and abuse on behalf of unions, pension funds, and retirement systems. He has been volunteering for Democratic Party campaigns for over twenty years. In 2016, he ran the party's nationwide voter assistance and protection hotline system. Ben's work has helped over 70,000 people exercise their right to vote. While he was growing up, Ben's parents ran a small business, where Ben often worked on weekends and during his summers off from school. From that experience, he learned about the many challenges small business owners face, but also the positive impact they make on the strength and well-being of a community. He and his wife are raising their two young children in the community.

COMMON-SENSE LEADERSHIP FOR OUR STATE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: ELECT JOHANNA EDMONDSON AND RE-ELECT MICHAEL HELLER FOR STATE COMMITTEE

Johanna Edmondson is the founder of the Female Fight Club. As a successful business owner, children's book author, and community leader, she is dedicated to volunteering on projects that help the community. Born in the Dominican Republic, she came to New York City at age seven, where she met the challenge of coming to a new country and became an advocate for social justice and empowering women.

Michael Heller has been active in the community for many years, having served as the District Manager of Community Board 8 and the current President of the Association of Riverdale Co-ops/Condominiums (ARC). He has worked in public affairs at Montefiore/Einstein College of Medicine, Jacobi/North Central Bronx Hospital, and the MTA. He and his wife live in Riverdale, where they raised their two now-adult children.
